At TGS 2025, Smilegate featured playable demo zones for its upcoming titles “Chaos Zero Nightmare (CZN),” set to officially launch on the 22nd, and “MIRESI: Invisible Future.” The booth also included themed photo zones and various on-site events. Popular Japanese cosplay models and virtual YouTubers took the stage to play the games live and share their impressions in talk sessions, which drew significant attention. The CZN booth stood out for its dark-themed design inspired by the game’s world and a life-sized installation of the in-game teleport device, where cosplay models made surprise appearances. In the demo zone, players experienced about 20 minutes of Chaos Zero Nightmare unique roguelike-style combat using “cards,” as well as its signature “Breakdown” scenes depicting the characters’ psychological breakdowns.

The MIRESI booth captured the attention of visitors with its stunning artwork by renowned subculture game art director Kim Hyung-seop (Hyulla). A highlight was the 5.5-meter-high giant LED “Ending Zone,” where the game’s characters continuously moved in vivid animation. The gameplay demo unveiled Miresi’s real-time turn-based combat system for the first time, where players engage in battles that manipulate time, showcasing dynamic and strategic visual effects.
