
"Futurebee Challenge" wins 'iF Design Award 2025' 2025-03-24
■ “Futurebee Challenge” and “Burning Beaver” win main awards at an international design competition.

Smilegate Future Lab’s “Futurebee Challenge” has won the Winner award in the Communication category at the “iF Design Award 2025”.
The iF Design Award is recognized as one of the world’s top three design awards, alongside Germany’s “Red Dot Award” and the U.S. “IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards).” The awards are based on five evaluation criteria: ▲Innovation ▲Aesthetics ▲Functionality ▲Differentiation ▲Sustainability, recognizing projects with creativity and innovation.
“Futurebee Challenge” received high marks for its innovative educational approach and creation-focused communication strategy. The judges especially noted that it gave the youth community the opportunity to explore creative solutions, share their results, and broaden discussions about a sustainable future
"Futurebee Challenge is a project designed to help students build their skills and enhance their digital literacy. Participants create and share digital works that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)."
Furthermore, Smilegate’s indie game & culture festival “Burning Beaver” won the Winner award in the Communication category at the “Asia Design Prize 2025.”
The Asia Design Prize 2025 is the largest design award in Asia. Burning Beaver was highly praised for effectively conveying the essence of indie game culture and fostering a strong sense of connection among participants.
