In celebration of Smilegate’s 23rd birthday, SUPER SMILE WEEK took place over the course of a week starting June 9. From fun games using our IPs to team-based sports games, beer parties, and special performances, a wide range of programs filled each day. Shall we take a look at the birthday celebration, filled with exciting activities and events inspired by ideas gathered from our team in advance?

The Long-Awaited Moment: Time to Play with Our IPs!

SUPER SMILE WEEK began with the eye-catching exterior adorned with the 23rd anniversary key visual! As we stepped into the campus lobby full of excitement, Smilegate’s IP-based games were the first to catch our eyes. From the solo or co-op CROSSFIRE shooting game, to the pirate roulette-style LORDNINE avatar summoning game, to the single-player rhythm game LOST ARK: Island of Origins and 1v1 duel-style Epic Seven: Rhythm Surfer! The “IP Game Zone,” filled with familiar characters, worlds, and OSTs, added immersion with clever content that captured our unique identity.

Meanwhile, the “Custom Item Zone,” where participants could create personalized merchandise featuring 23rd-anniversary limited designs and popular IP characters, was a huge hit! Members enjoyed making items that reflected their own taste and style.

Together Yet Apart: Smart Ways to Play

“Super Challenge 23,” featuring physical games like golf and darts to build teamwork, along with mini-games like dice throws and traditional Korean “bisok” stone toss, added a unique layer of fun. Programs like Smile Game Attack, one-day classes, and the “Find Sdaeri & Saedaeri” event offered plenty of ways to participate—whether solo or in teams—making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to join in. Smile Points earned through gameplay could be exchanged for prizes or donated, adding both fun and meaning to the experience!

We’ll Give You Everything: Cravings? Just Head Outside the Office!

No birthday party is complete without delicious food! On the 11th, special guests appeared at the campus main gate and the first floor of First Tower. IP-themed food trucks like “Master’s Chewy Skewers” and “Power-Up Hot Dogs” drew in crowds of hungry team members. With ice-cold draft beer, nachos, pretzels, and more, both eyes and taste buds were treated to a feast!

Now the Party Begins: Happy 23rd Birthday, Smilegate!

On June 11, the anniversary day itself, an extra special celebration awaited. As evening came, the campus lobby transformed into a full-blown concert hall! The band Car, the Garden and rapper BewhY lit up the stage with a passionate live show, accompanied by waves of glowing orange cheering sticks and enthusiastic applause. A lucky draw followed with a shower of generous prizes, and everyone sang happy birthday together, marking the peak of the festivities. Meanwhile, a beer party in the Healing Forest served cold brews and an all-you-can-eat buffet, giving everyone a chance to relax and soak in the birthday celebration.

Twice the Laughter, Twice the Joy: A Perfect Day with Family

On Saturday the 14th, a special event added a unique touch to this year’s Super Smile Week. That event was none other than Family Day, where employees’ families were invited to celebrate Smilegate’s birthday together. A total of 113 families—390 people in all—were selected through a raffle and invited to the Smilegate campus. Parents, spouses, children—everyone experienced the Super Smile Week programs together and enjoyed a delicious meal in the Healing Forest. Many family members were surprised and proud of the company’s impressive facilities!

Smilegate’s 23rd birthday became even more meaningful by celebrating it with family.

The 2025 SUPER SMILE WEEK shone brighter because we created it together. May it remain a joyful memory in everyone’s heart for a long time to come.
