A Glimpse into the 2024 MVB Certification Ceremony

Smilegate holds the annual MVB (Mega Value Business) Certification Ceremony to celebrate and recognize teams and individuals who have achieved ‘Mega Value.’

What is Smilegate’s Mega Value?

The MVB certification is the highest distinction given to business units that exemplify the Mega Value Smilegate pursues. This year, that honor went to the global No. 1 FPS ‘CROSSFIRE’ and the acclaimed MMORPG ‘LOST ARK.’ The 2024 MVB ceremonies, held on November 11 and 13, served as meaningful moments for the CROSSFIRE and LOST ARK teams—as well as the entire Smilegate Group—to reflect on the achievement and celebrate it together.

An Awards Show Moment—You Shine as the Star at the MVB Ceremony

The “MVB Ceremony” took place at Smilegate Campus’s dining hall “Healing Forest,” that normally serves as the employee cafeteria. For the occasion, Healing Forest was transformed into a glamorous awards venue. A red carpet at the entrance welcomed the MVB honorees, making them feel like stars on the big screen."

At the end of the red carpet stood a magnificent trophy, engraved with the names of every member of the winning business units. It served as a powerful reminder that today’s achievement was made possible by everyone’s effort.

The MVB plaque, engraved with the names of all team members surrounding their IP’s iconic characters, gleamed with pride. It’s hard to imagine a more meaningful plaque.

A large screen at the venue showcased highlight videos of each IP’s journey along with congratulatory messages from colleagues, creating a moving atmosphere.

A Festival Where Everyone Celebrates and Shares Gratitude!

No celebration is complete without food. On the day of the ceremony, special meals and snacks were offered courtesy of LOST ARK and CROSSFIRE. At Smilegate Campus, employees enjoyed a barbecue platter and LA short ribs from LOST ARK, and lobster with steak and Korean-style pork sets from CROSSFIRE. For those at the First Tower office, both IPs prepared snack boxes to add to the festive spirit.

Before and after the ceremony, various programs were held to allow all members to express gratitude, celebrate together, and reflect on the meaning of MVB.

From November 4 to 8, Smilegate Campus featured a giant electronic board displaying the names and photos of MVB achievers, a message wall for colleagues to leave words of congratulations and gratitude, and even cup holder events with MVB slogans.

From November 14 to 22, the proud MVB plaque and trophy were displayed in the campus lobby for everyone passing by to see.

The 2024 MVB Ceremony came to a successful close. Who will be the next to earn this honor?
