Smilegate has unveiled the first official trailer for its new Crossfire title at Summer Game Fest 2026, North America's premier global gaming showcase. The upcoming game is being developed by the global AAA game development studio That's No Moon.

That's No Moon, which received a strategic investment from Smilegate in 2021, is a new development studio founded by a group of veteran developers who previously worked on acclaimed titles such as Uncharted and The Last of Us.
The Crossfire trailer revealed at the event unfolds the story of two hostile combat operatives, Layla and Cross, who form an uneasy alliance to survive an unknown threat.

Immersive with cinematic direction and a deep narrative, this game features innovative gameplay elements such as strategic stealth combat and a character-adaptive cover system.
Of particular note is the "Adaptive Cover" system, which optimizes the character's combat stance in real time based on the surrounding terrain and the positions of enemies.
