Smilegate Kicks Off Pre-Registration for 'Eclipse: The Awakening' with Live Showcase 2026-07-23

■ Live showcase to air on official YouTube channel at 8 PM on the 23rd — developers to unveil design philosophy and core content directly

■ Growth support rewards to be given to all pre-registration participants — giveaway event also underway for those who add the KakaoTalk channel

Smilegate announced on Thursday, July 23, that it will hold an online live showcase for the large-scale MMORPG "Eclipse: The Awakening" (hereafter "Eclipse"), developed by NPIXEL and will begin user pre-registration.


Smilegate will reveal information about Eclipse for the first time through a live showcase streamed on Eclipse’s official YouTube channel at 8 PM on the 23rd. Lead Producer Lee Sang-moon, who oversees Eclipse's development, will appear on the broadcast to introduce the game's development philosophy, core content, and service plans.


Ahead of the showcase, Smilegate revealed four playable classes — Fighter, Ranger, Sorceress, and Assassin — on the official website, allowing users to preview each class's characteristics in advance.


Smilegate has also begun pre-registration for Eclipse. Users can sign up through Google Play, the Apple App Store, and Smilegate's STOVE platform. All pre-registration participants will receive growth support reward items, including a rare-grade "Summon Ticket" and a "Weapon Skin" In addition, users who add the official KakaoTalk channel will receive an in-game exclusive skin and the chance to enter a giveaway for various prizes, including the latest tablet devices.


Meanwhile, alongside preparations for the game's launch, Smilegate is running an ongoing recruitment for Eclipse’s "STOVE Partner Creators." Users who wish to become Eclipse partner creators can apply through the STOVE Creator website. Selected partner creators will receive a range of benefits, including mission rewards for participating in content creation and mission programs, content promotion, and invitations to official events.
