[2021-0707] Smilegate RPG’s (CEO Chi, Wongil) MMORPG Lost Ark announced on the 7th (Wednesday) that it will begin the large-scale summer update “Astalgia”, in order to make exciting memories of summer vacation for Lost Ark adventurers.

The "Astalgia" update consists of the “Hyper Express” event, which enables adventurers to grow rapidly to challenge commander raids, and various events such as the “Maharaka Festival”.

The “Hyper Express” event, which supports the rapid growth of adventurers, will be held from July 7th to September 15th. By actively utilizing jumps and Hyper Express available to adventurers, even new adventurers can grow rapidly to level 1415. Once they reach level 1415, they will be able to challenge themselves to the “Commander Raid”. "Jumps" can instantly turn your character to level 1302, and "Hyper Express" is a special event that provides major rewards such as materials, shillings, and gold to your “Hyper Express character” between level 1302 and 1415.

In addition, the "Astalgia" update will showcase a new growth support event "Story Express", for adventurers who love stories. Through "Story Express", new adventurers can experience Lost Ark's renowned production and story, reduce the time needed to grow, and enjoy Lost Ark’s world. "Story Express" is only available for new characters and provides various rewards as the story unfolds. This can help characters grow rapidly to level 1302.

At the same time, the water park themed island “Maharaka Paradise” will hold the “Maharaka Festival”. On Maharaka Paradise, you can enjoy mini games such as ▲Maharaka Racing, ▲Waterpang Arena, and ▲One more time! Bloom, Mokoko! These attractions that can be found in water parks will be able to give adventurers a memorable summer vacation. During the Maharaka Festival, which runs from July 7th to September 15th, you can earn “Maharaka leaves” by enjoying games and content which can be exchanged for useful items.

There are also plenty of heartwarming summer events for adventurers. First, the "Stamp Tour to Arkrasia" will give “Maharaka points” to adventurers who play the game for more than 60 minutes or participate in “Stamp Tours”, held on different continents every week. The "Play Summer Bingo" event will also give "Maharaka points" to adventurers who complete missions and complete the Bingo. The acquired "Maharaka points" can be exchanged for 35 different decorative items and rides on the official website "Maharaka Point Shop".

Smilegate RPG is also working on a social contribution campaign with adventurers called "Dear. Friend Project" in addition to the summer events.
