Smilegate and NX3GAMES Signs the Global Publishing Agreement for the N… 2023-06-26

■ NX3GAMES, developer of Rohan M signs the Global Publishing Agreement for The Lord (working title)

■ Cross-platform MMORPG featuring Flexible Character Progression and Large-scale Real-time RVR

■ The two companies pledge to exert every effort to build on their prior triumphs in the global market to create a new momentum of growth

Smilegate and NX3GAMES (Ildon Choi, Jaeheon Choi co-CEO) made a public announcement on June 19 upon signing the Global Publishing Agreement for the upcoming MMORPG, The Lord (working title).

* MMORPG is an acronym for “Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game”

The Lord, yet in development by NX3GAMES, is an MMORPG game dedicated to providing large-scale real-time RVR with broad and unique choices on leveling up the character. The Lord is planned to be released on mobile and PC platforms.

* RVR is an acronym for “Realm vs. Realm”

The Lord provides the following outstanding features:

- Players can switch weapons that expand to eight unique types mid-battle with no constraints.

- Players can collect “abilities” to unlock more than 200 unique types of classes.

- Realistic 3D maps and vivid artwork created using photo scan technology.

In addition, enhancement for the real-time RVR battlefield is underway to allow more than 600 players to play simultaneously.

The Lord is being developed by NX3GAMES; a gaming company well known for the top-hit game Rohan M. It is known that Hyojae Kim, who led the success of Rohan M, is leading the development of The Lord. Likewise, NX3GAMES, established in 2017, is developing a variety of projects based on the success of Rohan M.

With the Global Publishing Agreement signed, Smilegate is authorized to start the service of The Lord globally except for China. Smilegate plans to promise the success of The Lord by converging experiences from the previous achievements of the company’s internationally renowned Intellectual Properties such as Crossfire, Lost Ark, and Epic Seven. Smilegate and NX3GAMES pledged to work together closely to ensure a successful launching of The Lord in the global market.

The release date and more details regarding The Lord will be revealed in the future.
