The official website of Smilegate Group previously won the Grand Prize in Gaming at Web Award Korea 2022 and has now won the Grand Prize in Digital Media & Service Industry (Gaming) at A.N.D. Award 2022.

The Awards for New Digital Award (A.N.D. Award) is the digital industry awards ceremony considered the highest authority in Korea, and is hosted by Korea Digital Enterprise Association and officially sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation, and Korea Internet & Security Agency. Award winners are determined through three phases of review involving CEOs within the industry and other outside technical experts. Prominent enterprises such as POSCO, Samsung C&T Corporation, and Kyobo Life Insurance have previously won awards at the A.N.D. Award.

The official website of Smilegate Group stands out in terms of its intuitive screens and systematic page layout. It received positive reviews for the planning and production that allows users to learn about Smilegate naturally.

Entire Website Consists is Interactive 

The entire official website of Smilegate Group is interactive. Rather than simply listing information, the screen changes every time the user scrolls down or clicks in order to deliver key information through an immersive experience.

Smilegate previously won the Grand Prize in Gaming at Web Award Korea 2022, held in December last year.

At the time, Web Award Korea praised the official website of Smilegate Group for actively utilizing images and videos to create a gameplay-like experience for users while also expressing the vision and the identity of the company effectively. The website was also praised for its intriguing and easy-to-use UI.

Construction of ‘Content-focused Intuitive Website’ Appealing to Generation MZ

Smilegate Group unveiled a completely revamped website for the group in January 2022. The aim was to build a ‘content-focused intuitive website’ that would appeal to generation MZ, and construction of the new website took six months, beginning in June 2021. 

The new website delivers information in summary form based on improved visual elements. In particular, the key visual domains and gallery domains reflect the latest news from the group in in a timely manner through videos and photographs, which effectively indicates the directive of the new official website of Smilegate Group.
