Smilegate's 24th anniversary festival "SUPER SMILE WEEK" 2026-07-09

More fun together, Happy 24th birthday to Smilegate!

On the 24th anniversary of its foundation, Smilegate held a celebratory festival called "SUPER SMILE WEEK" with executives and employees. At the week-long festival held from June 8 to 12, executives and employees challenged games using the company's IP and created their own special goods. It introduced special moments that were full of laughter and cheers, such as sharing food and enjoying performances together. 

The entrance to the Smilegate campus and the cute key visuals of "SUPER SMILE WEEK" marked the beginning of the festival. The lobby and other places on campus were decorated with decorations and photo zones to celebrate the 24th anniversary.

The competitive button has been pressed! IP Experience Zone

The IP Experience Zone had a long queue early on. Games using Smilegate's flagship IP provided executives and employees with unique enjoyment. The team that recorded the top 3 was given a dinner fee, which heated up the participants' desire to win.

It is a game in which you score points by hitting a target that is randomly lit with a sword. Reflexive nerves and quickness are the key to determining the outcome!

In the Smile Arcade Zone, they were given the opportunity to obtain stamps through one-on-one competitions and mission challenges. Employees who enjoy the game naturally cheered and competed with each other to create another memory.

Visiting instant games and smile game attacks also heated up the festival atmosphere. The management staff walked around the lobby, suggested games such as bouncing balls and slap-match, and gave stamps to the winning individual/team. The cheers of victory and the sigh of regret were mixed.

As I enjoyed the game, QR stamps were piled up one by one. At the prize exchange, one voucher for each of the five stamps was given, and various gift certificates were prepared as prizes, raising the enthusiasm for participation.

The custom zone, where you can choose the items you want from T-shirts, key rings, pouches, and tote bags and add your own personality, was also loved. The joy of creation was on the faces of executives and employees who completed the world's only goods by combining various warpens and design elements.

A festival that became more meaningful as we shared it together

Special guests were also present at this year's "SUPER SMILE WEEK". On June 10, 17 children and adolescents from local children's centers visited Smilegate's campus and participated in the "Palette Youth Party Mentoring Day" organized by Hope Studio. The children had time to listen to special lectures by executives and employees. After that, they had a good time experiencing the program of "SUPER SMILE WEEK". The children's laughter made Smilegate's birthday even more meaningful.

Today, happiness is more important than calories

In front of the main gate of the campus, a food truck with a variety of menus was set up. In addition to churros and fries, spicy and sweet Supreme seasoned chicken gangjeong and three kinds of skewers (sotteok sotteok, fish cake hot bar, and hot dog) were prepared to capture the taste of executives and employees. 

At lunchtime, a long line continued at the cafeteria Healing Forest. The executives and employees enjoyed the festive atmosphere by eating special meals such as beef seaweed soup set as a birthday meal.

Beer Station was held at 4 p.m. ahead of the official ceremony. Employees holding cool beer in one hand and entrance bracelets in one hand gathered in front of the stage, making the atmosphere even more ripe. 

And every time the lucky draw number was called out, cheers erupted from all over the place. The main characters of the generous prizes such as PlayStation 5, hotel accommodation tickets, and gift certificates enjoyed their special joy. 

Soon the sun had set, and the last of the festival was decorated with music. The cheering sticks in the hands of the members shook like waves and embroidered the campus lobby beautifully.

The opening performance was performed by Kadencha, a band that won the Grand Prize at the University Music Festival. Kadencha, who elevated the mood with youthful and fresh energy, delivered the message of challenge and growth that Smilegate pursues through music.

"Can I be with you for a long time today?"

Singer-songwriter 10CM appeared on the main stage. Whenever the main songs such as "Gradation," "Love Is in the Milky Way Cafe," "May It Reach You," "Phonecert," and "Do You Like Spring?" were followed by cheerful chant from the audience.

Full of games, performances, food, and laughter, "SUPER SMILE WEEK." Smilegate's 24th birthday concluded with joy and celebration. The memories of this day have become another special memory, making us look forward to the next 25 years.
