Smilegate announced on Monday the 6th that ‘Epic Seven’—the mobile turn-based strategy RPG developed by Super Creative—has commenced its two-month journey, kicking off with the group draw ceremony for its new global online esports league, 'Epic Seven Masters.'

The 'Epic Seven Masters' is a newly launched online esports league for this year. The top competitors from the World Arena Spring Season will fierce it out for a total prize pool of $34,000 and seed spots in the 'Epic Seven World Championship (E7WC).' Following the success of E7WC, which has already established itself as a premier mobile esports festival in Korea, this new league is highly anticipated to bring fresh excitement and entertainment to Epic Seven fans.

The league features players who finished in the top 100 of the World Arena 2026 Spring Season and expressed their desire to participate. Beginning with the group draw on the 4th, the tournament will proceed through a 'double-elimination' Group Stage, followed by a 'Knockout Stage' where the top two players from each group advance, ultimately crowning the final champion in the Grand Finals. The Group Stage will be divided into two divisions: the Global Group (consisting of the Global and Europe servers) and the Asia Group (consisting of the Korea, Asia, and Japan servers).

The Group Stage will take place every Saturday at noon (KST) for four weeks, from April 11th to May 2nd. The Knockout Stage will be held on May 16th (Sat), 17th (Sun), and 23rd (Sat), culminating in the long-awaited Grand Finals on May 30th (Sat). All matches of the league will be broadcast live on the official Epic Seven YouTube channel.

The winner and runner-up will receive prize money of $15,000 and $10,000, respectively, along with direct seeds to the E7WC 2026 Round of 16. In addition, prize money will be awarded to the top eight players based on their final standings.

By hosting this new online league, Smilegate plans to further expand opportunities for players to participate in esports. Along with the E7WC scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, the company aims to strengthen the foundation of Epic Seven esports.
