Smilegate to Host “CFS 2025 Grand Finals” in Chengdu, China, This December 2025-09-15

Smilegate Entertainment (CEO Jang Ina) announced on Monday the 15th that the premier CROSSFIRE esports competition, the “CFS (CROSSFIRE STARS) 2025 Grand Finals,” will be held in Chengdu, China, from December 3 to 14.

The tournament will open with group stages at Chengdu’s Liangzai Studio, before moving to the Dama Fang Financial Town Entertainment Center for the semifinals and finals. A total of 16 teams will qualify through regional leagues: four from China, three each from EUMENA, Brazil, and Vietnam, two from the Philippines, and one from North America. Notably, the Chinese league earned an additional slot by winning the EWC, giving it one more team than other pro leagues.

The slogan for CFS 2025, “Dare to Dominate,” embodies the evolving identity of the CROSSFIRE FPS IP. With this year’s tournament, Smilegate seeks to go beyond competition, turning it into a global esports cultural festival that celebrates player skill, fan passion, and the spirit of Chengdu’s citizens.

Now in its 12th year, CFS is a premier esports tournament built on CROSSFIRE, the global FPS title serviced in more than 80 countries. In August, CROSSFIRE further cemented its stature by completing a highly successful run as an official title at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, the world’s largest esports festival. Building on that momentum, the upcoming CFS 2025 Grand Finals will stand as the most prestigious tournament in CROSSFIRE’s history, steeped in tradition and drawing immense anticipation from fans around the world.
