Epic Seven Launches Summer Update. Reveals New Limited Hero, Story, an… 2026-06-29

■ Summer Limited Hero "Eye of the Abyss Fumyr" introduces new tactical variables with "Detain," an effect that removes an enemy Hero from the battlefield. 

■ The 6-week Special Side Story, "Show Me What Lies Within," features a classic "territory-capture" style arcade mini game. 

■ The "Epic Dash" event runs through August 27, offering massive rewards for Hero acquisition and rapid progression. 

On Friday the 26th, Smilegate announced that its mobile turn-based strategic RPG "Epic Seven," developed by Super Creative, has kicked off its summer season update featuring a new Limited Hero, a Special Side Story, and the Epic Dash event. 

The Limited Hero introduced for the 2026 summer season is Eye of the Abyss Fumyr. As a central figure in the newly added Special Side Story, "Show Me What Lies Within," she visits the Aelo Coast to track the whereabouts of Harsetti, the sovran of Shadow Elves, only to find herself swept up in a series of unexpected incidents. 

Eye of the Abyss Fumyr is a 5 Earth Elemental Mage obtainable until July 16. Her Skill 3, "Eye of the Abyss," inflicts "Detain" on the foremost enemy Hero, temporarily removing them from the battlefield. This allows players to collapse the enemy's frontline and drive the battle to their advantage. 

The Special Side Story starring Fumyr will run for six weeks until August 6. Set against a coastal backdrop, the narrative features a diverse cast of characters alongside Fumyr, including the information broker "Birgitta" and her assistant "Aube." Notably, as players progress through the story, they can play a classic "territory-capture" style arcade mini game to acquire various rewards, including high-quality illustrations.   

Meanwhile, the "Epic Dash" event will take place from June 25 to August 27, offering massive benefits for Hero acquisition and growth. Players can clear daily and weekly missions to level up their "Mission Pass" rank and claim rewards. Depending on their rank, players can obtain a 5 Hero Selector that provides a Hero with all progression fully completed, a 5 Limited Hero Selector, a standard 5 Hero Selector, various Summon Currencies, Equipment Sets, and more. 

Also, as part of the Epic Dash lineup, the "Premium Moonlight Summon" event will grant players up to 100 free Moonlight Hero summons simply by logging in daily. As an extra milestone bonus, players will receive a 5 Light Elemental Hero Summon Ticket upon performing 20 summons, and a 5 Dark Elemental Hero Summon Ticket upon performing 100 summons. 

Finally, the update brings the "Lucky Dash" event, where players can obtain various Equipment and Charms, alongside the "Epic Dash Buff" event, which provides several powerful in-game buffs.
