Smilegate announced on Thursday (the 24th) that the roguelike RPG 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' (henceforth ‘CZN’), developed by Super Creative and serviced by Smilegate, has won the Gold Award in the mobile game category at the Bahamut Awards, hosted by Taiwan’s largest gaming webzine and community, Bahamut.

The Bahamut Awards is an annual ceremony organized by Bahamut, the platform where game and animation fans in Taiwan are most actively engaged. This year, winners were selected by aggregating user reactions and activity data collected from Bahamut’s official forums. Now in its 17th year, the awards are regarded as a representative benchmark for measuring a title’s recognition and buzz within the Taiwanese game market. In the mobile game category, rankings were determined based on official forum engagement, with the top three titles receiving awards. CZN ranked first and claimed the Gold Award.

Since launch, CZN has consistently recorded strong popularity on Bahamut’s mobile game forums, maintaining high visibility and sustained user interest. In particular, the title repeatedly secured the No.1 spot in forum popularity rankings across multiple periods, earning recognition as one of the most talked-about mobile games in Taiwan. This Gold Award further validates that momentum.

In Taiwan’s game market, Bahamut rankings are widely used as a key indicator of a title’s popularity and commercial traction. As such, this achievement is viewed as a meaningful milestone that underscores the strong interest and favorable response CZN has received from local players.

Meanwhile, CZN recently unveiled a large-scale update roadmap extending through the first half of 2026 via an official showcase video released on the 20th. Centered on the seasonal content Galactic Disaster, the roadmap outlines the sequential rollout of new combatants, story content, and large-scale battle modes. The updates will also strengthen overall system quality and introduce quality-of-life improvements informed by player feedback.

Smilegate plans to further expand engagement with global players through continuous content updates and refined live operations.
