All Gamers (AG), the champions of the CFS 2025 Grand Finals which concluded on the 14th in Chengdu, China, secured their third overall title by demonstrating unwavering game control and strong teamwork on the championship stage.

In a post-match media interview, the AG players pointed to a mindset built on overcoming fear and maintaining composure rather than rushing decisions as the driving forces behind their victory. We spoke with tournament MVP ‘ZQ’ (Zhang Qian), who led the team from the front, and sniper ‘Doo’ (Meng Kun), who provided consistent support from the backline, to hear their thoughts on the win.

Q1. Congratulations on winning the CFS 2025 Grand Finals. How do you feel?

AG_ZQ : Since it was the grand finals, I tried to focus on the process rather than the outcome. Strong results naturally follow a solid process. While winning was certainly the goal, our mindset was less about the pressure of “having to win” and more about executing the plays we had prepared until the very end. Every team member approached the match with the same mindset, and I believe that alignment led to this result.

Q2. AG maintained remarkable composure throughout the finals. Was there anything specific the team focused on?

AG_Doo: The most important thing was constantly reminding ourselves not to get impatient. Rather than forcing the pace simply because it was the finals, we kept telling each other to take it one round and one set at a time. Even when the opponent gained momentum, we focused on maintaining our own tempo. We trusted our overall strength and believed that staying calm would eventually put pressure back on the opponent.

Q3. Team Stallion rose quickly during the tournament and proved to be a strong opponent. How did the team manage its mental state against such an unexpected challenge?

AG_ZQ : The moment thoughts like “What if we lose?” start creeping in during a match, team play begins to collapse. That’s why we kept communicating with one another to avoid fearing defeat and simply play the way we always practiced. Trusting each other and making quick, shared decisions on the best tactics played a major role in securing the victory.

Q4. What was the decisive factor that ultimately determined the outcome of the final?

AG_Doo: Rather than flashy plays, minimizing mistakes through disciplined game management was the key. Even in high-pressure situations, we kept our callouts simple and focused on fundamental decision-making. On a stage like the finals, even small mistakes can have a huge impact, so stability was our top priority.

Q5. What does this victory mean to AG?

AG_ZQ: This win wasn’t about the performance of any single player. It was the result of the entire team staying aligned and holding strong until the very end. Mutual trust and unwavering teamwork made this victory possible. On a personal note, returning to the team after a two-year break and winning the title makes this moment even more meaningful. There are times when I feel my skills aren’t what they used to be and wonder if it’s time to pass things on to the younger players, but at the same time, there’s still a desire to keep going without leaving any regrets as a competitor.

Q6. Any final words for the fans who supported All Gamers?

AG_Doo: Thanks to the constant support from our fans, we were able to stay calm even on a stage as big as the Grand Finals. We won’t be satisfied with just this victory and will continue striving to deliver even stronger performances in the future.
