Smilegate Entertainment announced on Wednesday, the 21st, that "CROSSFIRE" successfully wrapped up its participation in the "Asian Champions League 2025" (ACL 2025), Asia’s largest multi-title esports event. China’s "Baisha Gaming" claimed the championship title in the CROSSFIRE division.
With a total prize pool of USD 100,000, the event was held at Jing’an Sports Center in Shanghai, China. Eight elite teams from China, Vietnam, and the Philippines competed over two days for the CROSSFIRE championship.
The grand final featured a showdown between two Chinese teams. Baisha Gaming swept EVOLUTION POWER GAMING with a clean 3-0 set victory. After a performance slump in 2024, Baisha returned with a revamped roster, securing a direct seed to the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 and a USD 40,000 prize.
While Chinese teams reaffirmed their dominance in CROSSFIRE, a breakout performance came from the Philippines’ UBECMANIAC. The underdog squad pulled off a major upset in the quarterfinals by defeating KINGZERO eSports, the reigning champion of China’s CROSSFIRE Pro League. Although they narrowly lost in a fierce semifinal battle against last year’s CFS Grand Finals winner EVOLUTION POWER GAMING, UBECMANIAC firmly established itself as a promising international contender.
Hosted by Chinese esports organization Hero Esports, ACL is an international multi-title tournament featuring nine popular game titles, including CROSSFIRE, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends, and Street Fighter 6.
The ACL 2025 CROSSFIRE tournament was streamed globally in Chinese, English, and Vietnamese via official CFS and ACL channels on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. For more information about ACL 2025, please visit the official CROSSFIRE esports website (http://www.crossfirestars.com).
