Lost Ark Keeps Its Promise, A Heartwarming Hand-written Letter 2021-01-18

Last December 19th, Lost Ark’s 2nd year anniversary festival LOA ON was broadcasted live on its official website, YouTube, and Twitch.

The event lit up the end of 2020 with more than 36,000 simultaneous viewers and ranking at 8th place in popular search within 4 hours. LOA ON successfully demonstrated what a communicative festival looks like featuring an orchestra, voice actors, 2021 roadmap announcements, quiz events, and a live Q&A.

In particular, the heartwarming story of a mother who appeared with a princess in her arms, drew attention. She attended the Luteran New Year’s Gratitude Event in January 2020 and gave an interview saying she plays Lost Ark OST for her baby before birth. She showed great affection for Lost Ark by attending this year’s LOA ON as well.

She appeared once again through video when Director Keum, Kang Sun suggested an interview during Q&A. She talked about playing Lost Ark on her laptop at the postnatal care center to which Director Keum, Kang Sun said he wanted to gift her the Lost Ark OST album. He also expressed that he wishes her to spend more quality time with her daughter and speedy recovery while listening to the album.

Soon after, a post verifying that she received the OST album was posted on an online community.

The mother who received the OST album along with the handwritten letter by Director Keum, Kang Sun wrote that she was deeply touched and will continue to root for Lost Ark. Comments praised Director Keum, Kang Sun, calling him a silver lining.
