Smilegate Entertainment Announces Details Of VIETNAM CFEL 2021 Season … 2021-05-03



  

[2021-0503] Smilegate Entertainment has officially announced that it will resume the CROSSFIRE Elite League in VIETNAM after 3 years. The global league will be administered through VTC ONLINE. 

The upcoming tournament will take place on May 9th and the regular season will go all the way through June 20th and the playoffs will then take place from June 25th- 27th. The total prize pool for the tournament will be of 220,000,000 VND. 

The top 8 teams from the CF Vietnam Championship Cup will participate in the ‘VIETNAM CFEL 2021 Season 1.’ Something to take note of is that 64 teams participated in the CF Vietnam Championship Cup thus showing that the passion for CROSSFIRE is alive even after 3 years. 

VIETNAM CFEL 2021 Season 1 will be divided into the regular season and the playoffs. The participating 8 teams will compete against each other during the regular season in a single round-robin format with a win-loss score system in order to determine who will move up to the playoffs. Moreover, only the top 4 teams from the regular season will be able to advance to the playoffs and the matches will be a BO3 in a step ladder format. 

A lot of attention has fallen upon veteran players such as Rambo, Shady, Kz who will participate in this upcoming tournament. Fans are eager to see if the legends who led CROSSFIRE in 2017 will once again show their amazing skills. 

The results of VIETNAM CFEL 2021 Season 1 & 2 will play a big role in determining who will be able to attend CFS 2021 Grand Finals, the world’s most prestigious CROSSFIRE competition. With Vietnam back in the picture, this year’s CFS Grand Finals is expected to be very intense.
